But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4–7 (ESV)
At the end of April, I was awaiting the start of a new job which was still weeks away before I began. I was working the back acre and enjoying the “Spring” weather before the heat of the rest of the year came knocking. After a brief conversation with Susan, I decided to attempt to blog every day in the month of May. I also sent out texts to friends and family letting them know of this project and coveting their prayers that I would finish well and that it would be worth reading. Today is the final day, May 31st, and I will admit it has been enjoyable and at times a challenge to sit down and type something I hoped would be worth your time to read.
It has only been by the goodness and loving kindness of God that I was able to finish this project. I want to thank all who prayed for me and those who found their way here to read the posts. I especially want to thank the ones who took time to comment. All this was an encouragement to press on.
Susan asked tonight if I would continue and I told her I didn’t know, and I still don’t know if I will do it “every day”. I will have to think about it today and decide by midnight tomorrow. (smile).
To Him who is able to keep us in His care regardless of life or death, be glory forever and ever, amen!
