The past couple of weeks I have been working the back acre to clear it of underbrush and have removed 18 trees. All this is to create a outdoor play area for the grandkids and the children of guests. No need for boredom when there is fresh air.
So far there is a tire swing (a classic for the american backyard), a disc swing, a board swing, a slack line and a rock climbing tree. Today our friend James helped me build a platform 12 foot high to be the launching spot for a 160′ zip line. It took us about 10 hours to get it all done and it is quite exhilarating and still needs a couple of tweaks before we allow the grandkids on it.
